Welcome to Culrain Mains. We are a working livestock farm in the stunning Kyle of Sutherland around 18 miles inland from the well known Sutherland town of Dornoch. In addition to breeding pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle and North Country Cheviot sheep, we operate a small portfolio of self contained holiday cottages and two Glamping pods. We would love to welcome you to our beautiful part of the Highlands.
Accommodation
Whether you are looking for a traditional Highland cottage or something a little bit different, we can offer something for everyone. Our comfortable cottages and wigwams are located on a traditional Highland croft and offer stunning views over the Kyle of Sutherland.

Prize livestock
We breed award winning Aberdeen Angus cattle, selling pedigree bulls and females to other farmers the length and breadth of the United Kingdom and exporting to Europe. We also run a small flock of pedigree North Country Cheviot sheep which we sell at the world famous Lairg Lamb Sales in August.
