About us
The Henderson family have been farming almost a thousand acres in Culrain for three generations. Grandfather George moved South from Ormlie Farm in Caithness almost eighty years ago. Robert and his wife Anne are the current 'caretakers' of this beautiful land. Robert's passion is his herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle, he knows every one of them (and their parents and grandparents). Anne has a lifelong love of horses and spent thirty years teaching and working in education as well as helping Robert on the farm. Lambing has always been timed to coincide with the Easter holidays. As well as a passion for all living things, they share a love of community and have both been involved in the running of the village Hall which is famous for it's Ceilidhs. They have welcomed family, friends and visitors young and old, to Culrain Mains for many years and would love you to visit, enjoy and explore this magical part of the Highlands and its hospitality.
